HURRICANE ALERT
:  Hurricane Earl is expected to affect our area late Friday. All are encouraged to watch the forecasts over the next 36 hours. Please make sure that you have enough emergency supplies to last for 48 hours. This is expected to be a fast moving storm with good weather to follow.

Listen to the radio station 94.3 and 99.9 to get information on emergency shelters. If a shelter is open, Brewster residents are directed to the Cape Cod Tech High School on Route 124 in Harwich. Pets are welcome at this facility. This website will also be updated in the event the shelter is opened. If you do go to a shelter or go to stay with a relative, please be sure to bring any medications.

If wires are down, please stay away from them. We will be working closely with NSTAR to restore power as quickly as possible.
