The Brewster Police Department is offering an entrance exam for the position of full time Police Officer.
Minimum requirements include 21 years of age, a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain
a Class A License to Carry a Firearm. Preference will be given to candidates with prior law
enforcement experience, an honorable discharge from military service, a secondary degree in
Criminal Justice or a related field, or who have successfully completed MPTC Recruit Training.
Screening of candidates will include a written exam, physical exam, psychological evaluation,
extensive background check and oral interview.

The 40-hour position involves rotating shift work. The Town of Brewster provides an excellent
wage and benefits package.
