** The Firearms Class is FULL **

The Brewster Police Department is offering a free firearms safety class to be hosted at the police station.  The class will be held on October 29th, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the front training room.  The class is open to anyone over age 15 (under age 18 will require parent's permission), and Brewster residents will be given priority.  Class size is limited to 20 people, so sign up early to assure yourself a spot.  This course will cover weapon familiarity, safe handling, and Massachusetts firearms law.  Certificates will be issued for successful completion, and will count as filling the requirement for first time applicants for a Massachusetts LTC.  No prior firearms experience is required to take the course.  All attendees must bring a valid photo id with them to the class and absolutely no weapons or ammo should be brought to the class.  For more information, please contact Officer Norman Foss or Lieutenant George Bausch at the Brewster Police Department, 508-896-7011.  Click for a copy of the application. - click here
